Meet Dr. Richard Davila
Dr. Richard Davila is originally from New York. He obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Davila went on to complete a five year surgical residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. During his time in Syracuse he trained exclusively in surgery of the head and neck and gained extensive experience in aesthetic facial reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma, and nasal airway surgery. After completing his training in Head and Neck Surgery he was accepted into a highly coveted fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Kansas.
While in Kansas City he focused on aesthetic/cosmetic facial, nasal, and neck surgery including facelift/necklift surgery, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, lipo-transfer, and otoplasty surgery. He also trained extensively in and provided treatments using neuromodulators (Botox), injectable fillers, chemical peels and aesthetic lasers.
Dr. Davila’s current practice focuses primarily on aesthetic and plastic surgery of the face and neck. He is passionate about nasal cosmetic, functional and revision surgery (rhinoplasty), facial rejuvenation surgery of the face and neck, treatments for facial nerve paralysis, and maxillofacial surgical contour for both aesthetic enhancement and gender affirmation.
He is one of the few surgeons in the country who prides himself in being a specialist in rhinoplasty surgery performing primary rhinoplasty using both structural and preservation principles, revision rhinoplasty, gender affirming rhinoplasty and non-surgical nasal enhancement with injectable fillers.
He also has extensive experience in using power instruments for facial bone contouring in gender enhancement, gender affirmation and treatment of deformities of the facial skeleton.
